Roto Pumps eyes $100 million revenue with new compact pump line. The newly launched pump range forms a key part of the company’s roadmap to expand into over 100 countries and strengthen its position in the positive displacement pump segment.

“The P Range pumps are expected to drive global expansion and contribute to double-digit growth in international market share,” said Anurag Gupta, joint managing director.

These pumps are engineered for durability and high performance in sectors such as oil and gas, mining, wastewater treatment and food processing, said the company.

What are positive displacement pumps?
Positive displacement pumps function by trapping a fixed volume of fluid and then moving it. This contrasts with dynamic pumps, which use rotating components to create pressure and move fluid. Positive displacement pumps deliver a consistent volume of fluid per cycle, irrespective of pressure variations in the discharge system.

The company, with a presence in over 55 countries and seven overseas establishments, operates five manufacturing units across India, the US, the UK, Australia, Germany, Malaysia and South Africa.
